My art work captures the spiritual and the spontaneous during moments of surrender.Gestures are for expression more so than structure and process is central to my work. I'm attempting to participate with creation rather than to control it. Often I'm most rewarded by letting my stream of consciousness flow freely, allowing the real and the unreal to mingle with one another and provoke new creative experiences. Raw feelings translate into vibrant colors and varied texture, becoming foreign experiences with open ends for the audience. There is no greater moral value or judgement; the viewer is urged to interpret and re-interpret with each observation- and hopefully will find beauty in all of the chaos.
